10 GO-TO DINNER RECIPES FOR FAMILIES

Hi Friends!! It’s Brian’s last day of school today, I can’t believe my little guy has finished his first year of preschool ? When I think about all the moms and dads whose little ones are graduating from preschool tomorrow, my heart literally sinks. Anyone else feel so sad about our kids growing up?? I feel like I had Brian yesterday, it goes so fast, I just want to stop time…For his last day at school, I’m going to take him for ice-cream and then go swimming at our pool, and there is a carnival going on tonight so we’re headed there for dinner and rides! Yay summer!!

Onto today’s topic, DINNER. I am always coming up short for recipes for my kids, I feel like we are in a very static rotation of boring meals so I asked some of my favorite blogger mamas for recommendations and there are so many good ones here! I’ve listed 10 recipes that are tried and true from families I adore, so here we go…

1. Lasagna Meatballs with Ground Turkey

2. Street Tacos by Doreen Corrigan

3. Cheese-dilla by Life by Lee

Noah loves what he calls a “Cheese Dilla”
It’s literally a quesadilla. All we do is grab a flour tortilla, fill up one side with sharp cheddar cheese, black beans, and cooked chicken breast. You can then add it to a panini press to warm up/toast, put it on the skillet for a few minutes (flip sides during the cooking process) or toss it in the microwave for 30-4- seconds. We cut it up in small bites, and he loves it! It’s so simple, but it’s something that he requests on the regular!
4. 15-minute Asparagus Pasta from My Life Well Loved
5. Simple Ramen Noodle Recipe by Glitter Inc.
6. Ranch Chicken by Life in the Loft House
6. Hearty Chicken Soup by Lynzy & Co
7. Hearty Sausage, Lentil & Kale Soup by yours truly 😉
8. 30-minute Sheperds Pie by … yours truly again!
9. Turkey Stuffed Peppers
10. One-Skillet Italian Sausage Pasta tried and true from Loverly Grey
I hope these recipes inspire you and give you ideas for the weeknight meal slug!!
