For as long as I have been walking, yes as in learning to walk when you’re 1 years old, I’ve been shopping at Lord & Taylor. The stand-alone department store (one of the very few left in our area) was literally a two minute drive from my parent’s house in Stamford, Connecticut, and being that I haven’t fled far from the nest, that same Lord & Taylor (currently under an exciting and BEAUTIFUL renovation) is only about five minute drive away from my current home 🙂 <mama’s girl> I remember my dad taking us there when we were little to go shopping for gifts for our mom at Christmas and Mother’s Day, and of course shopping alongside my mom for pretty much every single occasion, birthdays, proms, even my own wedding! To this day, Lord & Taylor is my go-to for EVERYTHING, clothes, dresses, accessories, make-up, you name it. It is SO convenient to be able to do one-stop shopping without having to go to a mall and their selection never disappoints.
I’m SO excited to let you all know that this Saturday, October 8th, I am going to be hosting The Dress Address, an event celebrating the best collection of dresses in the world, at the Lord & Taylor in Scarsdale, New York. The event starts at 2 p.m. and I will be there presenting the latest and greatest in their dress department in a fashion show type setting. There will be refreshments, a DJ, contests and makeovers, so fun!
