I made this vanilla-bourbon french toast last weekend and it was DELISH, the perfect breakfast or brunch to serve to your friends and family and maybe a tiny bit healthy?
It sounds fancy but it’s really sooo easy, all you need is :
- ezekiel bread
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla-bourbon extract (I found this at Trader Joe’s but I suppose you could just combine vanilla and bourbon)
Simply soak the slices of bread in the egg mixture and cook on a butter pan over medium-high heat and voila!
The weather in Connecticut is supposed to be sunny and in the 60’s and 70’s this weekend so we’ll be spending lots of time outside! I’m so excited that it’s finally turning, it makes the days so much more enjoyable when we can play outside and run around with Brian and Grace (well she kind of just crawls around on the grass but still!). We’re also planning a trip to the Bronx Zoo on Sunday! It will be Brian’s first time at a zoo and we’re so excited to see his reaction when he sees the animals.
On instagram this week:
This new black lace top is perfect for date nights and I paired it with my favorite black pants and black fringe heels.
I found this cool palm tree top in the girls section and I grabbed it in an XL 🙂 I paired it with my favorite distressed jeans and leopard sneakers.
These new wedges came and I AM OBSESSED! They are so comfy but run a little on the small side so I recommend ordering a size up.
Sun’s out, stripes out. Love this top paired with my day-to-day boyfriend jeans cuffed up and of course, new wedges.
