One of the best decisions I ever made was to study abroad in college. I travelled to Florence for my spring semester of junior year and was randomly paired up with 8 roommates from all over the country. I met my best friends on this trip and we vowed to go back for our 10 year anniversary and we’re leaving in one week!!! There are five couples going and we are NOT bringing our kids (yes, I’m having MAJOR anxiety about that, but I am leaving them in good hands, two sets of grandparents and two babysitters). We are traveling to Chianti first and staying at this B&B which we will be taking over and then traveling to Florence and staying in this villa right outside the city. This is truly a trip of a lifetime and I’m bursting with excitement and spending this time with my BFF’s and showing Brian my favorite place on earth, Florence (Flo).
SO packing, I’m dreading it but have put together a list of what I think will serve me well for the 8 days I’m there with no laundry. Obviously lots of off the shoulder dresses for the night and some comfy ones for vineyard hopping in Tuscany and lounging around the pool. I’m also anticipating walking for miles once we get to the city so packing some comfy (and cute sneakers) to wear with denim shorts and tees.
