Hi Mamacitas and Happy Monday! I’m ready to dive into the week with some new projects and collaborations, and excited to share a bunch of new outfit inspiration with you that I photographed last week with Courtney Ann Photography in Darien at the newly expanded Kirby & Company (a must visit!).
On a personal note, I’m holding onto these last fews weeks of summer having Brian and Grace home with me before he starts preschool in September!! I can’t believe he’s starting school so soon, it’s crazy to think I’ll be dropping him off with his little backpack and lunch box and saying goodbye to my baby boy :((((( He’s so ready though, and I couldn’t feel more comfortable with where he is going, it’s where I went! He’ll be going Monday-Friday from 9-12 and doing all sorts of fun activities with kids his own age. He’s so social and I can’t wait for him to make new friends, learn and most importantly HAVE FUN!
We’re also closing on our new house on August 31st so I need to get busy and pack up our house! I attempted to start packing last week with the kids and I got about 1/3 of one box packed before they were getting inside the boxes and unpacking whatever they could. And here’s a tip, someone on Facebook suggested I call Old Navy and see when they get their new shipments and ask for their boxes so I called one morning and they had me come and take home about 200 empty boxes ready for packing, how great is that?
Okay so onto the fashion, I’m still head over heels with the off the shoulder trend and I’m certainly NOT going to give it up easily this fall. I found this perfect crochet swing top the other day at Lord and Taylor and I knew the color was right immediately and was so happy with it’s easy fit when I tried it on. It’s perfect to take you into September and comes in other colors if you want to wear it into winter paired with a scarf.

Okay so shirt is on sale, get it. And this bag is awesome! It’s quickly become a favorite and EVERYONE asks where I got it. It’s a steal and it’s faux leather which tends to wear really well.
