Decorating for the holidays has been so much fun in our new house! The older I get, and I guess the more and more toys we accumulate from the kids, the more inclined I am to keep things clean, minimal and simple in our home (all the white please) and that’s trickled down into the way I decorate. This year when I brought up our bins of holiday decor I found myself only putting out a few pieces from each, things that have been passed down and are meaningful, and a select few that I knew the kids would love, like our nutcrackers and german smokers, and of course, Mickey our elf. I also had so much luck at our local trader joe’s with fresh garland and boxwood wreaths.
For our mantle this year, I embellished a simple fresh pine garland with fresh greens tied with bows, I found the pretty ribbon at Target, it’s by Sugar Paper. The boxwood wreath is also fresh, was only $10!, and I tied that to the wall with a bow from the same ribbon at the top. Those cute little festive teepees were also at Target (sold as part of a DIY kit, all supplies included) and same with the banner! I live at Target.
Brian put up the lights outside on our two holly bushes and we put these amazingly real flickering candles in all the windows (need to get a better picture)
Now, here comes the fun! As part of the #purejoyholiday party I hosted last week, all my guests were invited to enter to win this BEAUTIFUL wreath from Frontage, and I wanted to let you all in on the fun as well 🙂 It’s seriously so stunning my jaw dropped to the floor when I opened it out of the massive box it came in.
SO my friends, enter below for your chance to win this beauty (a $400+ value) AND two 6′ strands of pre-lit soft pine garland from Grandin Road!
Giveaway closes next Sunday 12/11 at midnight EST! Good luck 🙂
