These were probably the best purchase of our house. We have had them for a few years now and I just love their look and feel they bring to our kitchen but also the function. The kids have sat on these for breakfast almost every morning since we bought them and they are sturdy, comfortable and cleans SO easily! We have 4 at our kitchen island and they make for a great entertaining space as well when we have friends or family over.
So many of you have spotted this in the background of my stories already. I wanted to have a round table here so that it wouldn’t block the flow of traffic in and out of each room but this was a perfect spot to have a casual meal, for little Brian to do homework and when we have friends or family over it’s another great gathering spot. It’s just really cozy and I love how much natural light it get’s with the doors to our deck being right next to it.
Also pictured above is our family room pendant light. I love the rattan look and think it compliments our beams and shiplap really nicely. It gives the room some warmth and texture as well. It comes in two sizes and I could see it either as we have it in a family room, a dining room or even a master bedroom.
Every time I do a try-on in our room I get asked about this rug. I LOVE this rug. It is entirely woven by hand and the color and threads have stayed well even in the heavy traffic areas. Great color and quality if you are looking for a more neutral rug in your home. I am obsessed with this mirror. It has lived in a variety of places as I tend to move it every time I decorate a new space. It’s current home is the centerpiece of our entry gallery wall. It helps make the space appear bigger and brighter and the natural rattan detail helps bring a little bit of that island/beach life to our decor.

We were so excited to get this for our front porch area. We spend a lot of time watching the play and ride bikes in our driveway so it’s a great spot to sit, relax and watch them. It’s also a good happy hour spot in the warmer months.
I have been looking for a really big beach blanket we can bring to the beach as it’s so much easier than bringing a bunch of towels to sit on when we just want to relax at the beach with no swimming.
