I met Jen when our now toddlers were just weeks old at a moms group hosted by our pediatrician’s office. We would walk into the meeting every Wednesday bleary eyed from nights with little sleep and exhausted from the learning curve and shock of having a new baby. It was such a nice group of women and an enormous comfort to talk to other moms who were going through the exact same motions I was with my new baby. There were tears, laughs, and plenty of hugs going around each week, Jen and I bonded from day 1 and have remained friends since.
Jen and her husband Alex recently bought an adorable cape cod style house in Southport, Connecticut and have turned it into such a beautiful home with their impeccable style. It’s vintage and modern and what I love so much about it is that it’s a collected home. You can tell it’s decorated with pieces that have been acquired over time and that are have meaning to their family.
My friend Steph and I were over for a playdate a couple of weeks ago and Jen was gracious enough to let us (Steph took the photos, I just watched in amazement!) photograph her various rooms to share with you!
