Holiday Styles With J.CREW

22 Nov 2019 Outfit Posts, Style

It’s no secret J.Crew has been one of my favorite places to shop since forever! I always find pieces I love and wear them over and over again, season after season. It’s always a satisfying feeling to know that what you are buying today will last you more than one season.  Like the mom approved one-piece bathing suit, I’ve been wearing that for the past six years! Also, my chateau parka has lasted me FOUR years now. I love it SO much and even got it in another color when they recently went on sale.

The new arrivals right now at J.Crew are SO good!! You can easily find your holiday party style no matter what type of events you have on the calendar whether it’s dressing up for your companies work party, cutting down the Christmas tree or Thanksgiving dinner 🦃

I styled a number of J.Crew holiday styles featuring items from their new arrivals section.  All the details are linked below to help you get the look. I am including sizing info just for reference so you can consider what size works best for you. I always get asked so thought it would be helpful to have this all in one place.

J.Crew Holiday Styles

Jumpsuit | Shoes | Headband

This velvet jumpsuit is perfection.  I love jumpsuits for every dressy occasion. It’s very chic and very comfortable at the same time. The bow detail around the waist helps give you a flattering shape and even accents the bump nicely. The shoes give the outfit a pop of fun with the crystal buckle.

Sizing: I am wearing a size 0 petite in the jumpsuit (I am 5’2”). If you’re pregnant like me, order one  or two sizes up!

Sweater | Vest | Jeans

I think this is a classy look for any outdoor or more casual gathering you have.  If you are looking for a somewhat festive look while cutting down the tree, this is it (weather permitting!).  Love the tartan on the vest. The sweater is super soft and under $100. I’ve always been a fan of their toothpick jeans and I have to say I’m still loving them with the bump because they are low-rise so they sit underneath 🙌🏻

Sizing:  Vest (XS) Turtleneck (XS) Jeans (25)

Headband | Dress | Shoes

Might be my favorite look!  A beautiful ivory sweater dress paired with a red tartan headband is the perfect subtle holiday look.

Sizing:  Dress (XXS)

Sweater | Jeans

Every year I find myself grabbing one of their fair isle sweaters.  It really is the perfect winter sweater. It also comes in two other colors.

Sizing:  Sweater (Small)

Sweatshirt | Jeans | Boots

This outfit makes me want to go skiing!  I mean being warm inside, sipping hot chocolate wearing this outfit while other people ski.  How cute are these boots?!

Scarf | Sweater | Jeans | Shoes

This is the same sweater I styled earlier with the Tartan vest.  Just a more casual take with the same sweater. I got these leopard flats last month and find it’s the perfect indoor shoe when I am hosting.  Boots just don’t make sense when I’m inside and my slippers may give my guests the feeling of me not getting myself together for them. So a happy medium!

I hope you enjoyed at look at J.Crew holiday style!

Thank you J.Crew for sponsoring this post.

As always, all thoughts & opinions are my own.

We’re currently in Phase 1 of our Costa Rican ad We’re currently in Phase 1 of our Costa Rican adventure. This is the two week decompression period where we train our bodies and minds to slow down (this is more for me than anyone else), and let me tell you, I’m lapping it up. We’re spending all day outside at the beach, going to bed early, eating lots of fresh fruit and healthy foods, swimming in the ocean, I’m working out and meditating in the mornings, and having fun together. For someone who is usually always in high gear, this part is my gift to myself 🐚

We are staying at a beautiful place in papagayo with @exclusiveresorts and it feels very luxurious and restorative.

The kids are already thriving. Being together 24/7 comes with its arguments and fights but they are learning how to just be with each other and with their crazy little brother. They’re helping a lot with him, learning a little Spanish, surfing, writing in their journals, and meeting kids from all over the world who are staying here as well.

I’m letting us get pampered for this phase, and it feels really good.

Thanks for coming along, I hope your year is off to an amazing start! Is there anything specific you’d like me to share about while we’re in this phase? I was thinking about sharing my morning workouts and meditations, but let me know!
Recently, I downloaded the Melissa Wood health app Recently, I downloaded the Melissa Wood health app @melissawoodtepperberg @melissawoodhealth and so far I’m loving the workouts. I try and do one every morning. They’re super quick so sometimes I do two. I like that they are gentle but hard. They incorporate a lots of yoga, pilates, breathing, stretching, balancing and all that good stuff. You can see from the videos I’m pretty shaky in the first couple clips, that balance is tough but I’m building up my strength, I can feel it 💪🏻
