Smoothies are such a great way to make sure your little ones are getting enough fruits and veggies in their diet. It took some trial and error to find something our kids actually like (and ask for!), but we finally found the right recipe and it has stuck. This is now a staple in our morning routine and I couldn’t be happier because it’s super easy to make and packed with vitamins and tons of antioxidants that support their little immune systems.
- A cup of orange juice
- Two ounces of NingXia red (From Young Living)
- Handful of fresh spinach
- Handful of frozen blueberries
- Handful of frozen mango
- Half a packet of frozen acai
Blend that all together and enjoy!
Tip: Add your liquid first, then your base (produce, etc) and then add your ice or frozen fruits to help with more efficient blending and a delicious consistency.
