Hi Friends!! Happy Friday 🙂 I’m excited to share Brian’s final room plans with you all. I have loved working on the kids rooms, they are so whimsical and you can really have some fun in these spaces making them magical for your little ones. My main goal is to make them happy in their new home and give them a safe place to land and love throughout our days. We’re also in a unique spot with Covid and being home, A LOT, so I think more than ever these spaces have to be functional and meaningful.
Here is Brian’s room :
I wanted to give both kids beds with trundles for future sleepovers, and I’ve always admired these Jenny Lind beds from Crate + Barrel. The black is so pretty, and will look perfect underneath the Pray For Surf banner I found on Etsy! Brian will have a built-in desk and I found the perfect leather chair for him at Wayfair! It looks like Restoration Hardware for a tenth of the price. He also really wanted a swivel 😉 For his cozy corner, I scored this bean bag chair on sale from Serena + Lily. I plan on having some sort of book storage on his wall but want to move into the space beforehand so I can get a sense of how we’ll use it.
The Pendleton quilt is SO cool, and will look awesome draped over his bed. Gaelle’s son has one and the minute I saw it I knew B needed it #influenced. The Love Live Boyhood banner is so cute and I plan on having it framed. Cool story about that, it’s from Imani Collective, and handmade by women in Kenya. Imani provides in-house childcare allowing women to work during the day with fair, salaried wages, meals, mentorship programs and business education. It feels good to support shops like this, and I found something cute for Grace, too!

We just bought this duvet set for Brian and it’s great!
We’ll probably end up needing a couple more accessories like a desk lamp and a reading lamp for his nightstand, but we plan on using some of the items from his current room and others we already have! I think we’re off to a really great start and he is already SO excited!!
