My Easy Summer Make-Up Routine

Connecticut Life & Style blogger, Liz Joy, shares her Connecticut Life & Style blogger, Liz Joy, shares her quick and easy summer make-up routine featuring products by Tarte & Tula.

What’s up mamacitas?! This morning I spontaneously hopped on stories and filmed my easy summer make-up routine and wanted to list out the products I use.

I don’t wash my face in the morning, I rinse it off with cold water.

*for all the TULA products, you can use my code PUREJOY for 20% off your order!

I apply Tula’s Illuminating face serum first! This illuminates my face and brightens it to make me look younger.

Next I apply my eye brightening stick Tula’s Glow + Get It, which makes me look a lot less tired, and younger.

Next I apply Tula’s face filter blurring primer which takes away my blotchiness, redness, and years of sun damage.

Next I put some makeup on. I am currently using Young Living’s mineral makeup line. I use Warm 2 foundation all over my face. This really makes my skin even and pretty. You can order this, too! Just enter my member number #13196752 when you check out.

NEXT, because I use a powder foundation, I get a powder finish which reminds me of my grandmother, bless her, but I like a more dewey, glowy look. I apply Becca’s Shimmering Powder in the color Champagne POP which is AWESOME!!

Oh, then I cover up the darkness under my eyes with Tarte Shape Tape, color Light Neutral 22N. One mom just messaged me and said this was God’s gift to moms, LOL.

I add some blush, too! Tarte again, color Seduce.

Oh wait, SUNSCREEN! If I’m applying makeup like this I’m usually not basking in the sun. If I were, I would apply a sunscreen primer. I like the SuperGoop Mineral Makeup Matte Primer. For today, I applied this SPF setting spray which does the trick for minimal sun exposure!

That’s about it!! If you have any questions on my easy summer make-up routine leave them in the comments below!
