Father’s Day is only a week away 😬Men are pretty impossible to shop for so I recruited Brian to round up some of his favorite “dad worthy” favorites. He took quite a bit of time to pull together his favorite men’s fashion items, home must haves and athletic gear so there is something for everyone.  Many of these items are available on prime so you can guarantee to get everything you need in time to make dad feel special on his day.

Brian is a big fan of Peter Millar golf shirts. These are great for a dad that loves to golf, but they can be also worn everyday. Recently, Brian also started wearing Travis Matthews. He loves the performance shirts and the shorts.

Another top must-have on this list is the JBL speaker.  It’s a portable, wireless, waterproof, bluetooth speaker.  We bring this everywhere, to the beach, out on the deck, when we travel it’s so easy to pack and given how much we all love music we see it as essential.

One of Brian’s top picks is the Yeti Hopper Cooler. We use this portable cooler all the time! Its perfect for a trip to the beach or a guys golf day. We have the large Yeti cooler but we get a lot more use out of the smaller one. Another favorite Yeti product is the tumbler. You can keep hot or cold beverages to the perfect temperature for hours!

We hope you like everything on our list!! Stay tuned into our instagram stories to see these items in action over the weekend 🙂

‘tis the summer of “no” for me, which may so ‘tis the summer of “no” for me, which may sound odd, but let me explain…

This is the summer of protecting my energy, keeping the good vibes close, and only saying yes to doing the things that truly bring us joy. I have found in the past that my patterns are typically to say yes to whatever may sound like a fun opportunity at the time, even if it’s months in advance. I’m sure you can guess what usually ends up happening, but when that day comes, I dread having made the plans! Most of the time, I would rather be home with my family, enjoying the beach, having quiet nights, etc… Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good time, but I have found the older I get, the simpler I like my life to be. I crave the freedom of not being on anyone else’s schedule, I don’t like being expected to be anywhere, I want my kids to just be free to play with their friends, and simply just enjoy the everyday moments.

My perfect summer looks like this… swimming in our pool, being at the beach with our friends and family, gardening, keeping up with my veggie garden, making yummy dinners, barbecuing, happy hour at the beach, taking walks, drinking coffee on the porch, reading books, watching movies as a family on the couch, playing tennis with my girlfriends … this is all heaven to me. We’re working pretty hard during the days with Marea, so when I’m not working, this is what I love to be doing.

How about you? Do you crave the simplicity? Or do you like having plans? Mix of both?
