Brian and Grace LOVE Halloween!! If they could wear Halloween costumes everyday I think they actually might. This year I wanted to invest in really great quality costumes that will last more than one wear. As they get older they have more of a social life than I do! Between school Halloween parties, parades and trick-or-treating, I want their Halloween costumes to wear well for each event.

As I was thinking about our Fall family bucket list, I had an idea to even host our own little Halloween playdate. Complete with costumes, bobbing for apples and a good jump in the leaves which believe it or not are already starting to fall here in CT! I think it will be a fun excuse to have friends over and play dress up!
This year I shopped at Pottery Barn Kids for costumes and I am so happy I did! Brian and Grace got really excited when they saw they could have costumes that light-up! Brian and I love it because it will make trick-or-treating that much safer. With the battery-operated LED lights it will be so much easier to keep track of them as we go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.
The best part is watching the kids choose their own Halloween costumes. Some years they surprise me but this year I had a feeling of what each of them would choose. Brian choose the Light Up T-Rex Costume and Grace choose the Light Up Unicorn Tutu Costume.
