My Gosh I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!!! Feeling all the christmas feels this year and just so damn grateful for 2019. I still can’t believe I’ve got a little babe growing inside me and I’m just starting to feel him/her, I think they call it “quickening”, feels more like teeny bubbles popping than actual kicks.
Back to holidays and one of my very favorite subjects, DECORATING! When it comes to holiday decorating, I like to keep things somewhat neutral with pops of all things festive scattered throughout. I’m gravitating towards a modern farmhouse vibe with a cozy homey feel. We had so much fun with our mantle project this year and at the end of the post I linked similar items to help you get this cozy holiday decor look in your own home so you can keep your #hostessgamestrong.
This year I found a great selection of home holiday decor items at Walmart. One of my favorite pieces I found was this garland. It’s 5 feet of seeded eucalyptus leaves that is just so pretty in person. I love eucalyptus all year round and like finding ways to weave it into our holiday decor as well. This piece would be great for your mantle or as a stunning runner on your holiday dinner table.
Another great find was this mini pine artificial tree which comes pre-lit and in a burlap base. It looks great next to the fireplace opposite the galvanized lanterns. I’ve also played around with featuring the tree on a stool and really like that look too. While shopping I saw they have a really great selection of wall decor and I think I need to grab this joy sign! There’s so many options to get you holiday ready including textured throws, pillows and more.
This past year I have really been looking at Walmart as a go-to place for home decor. They offer free shipping on orders over $35. Then most items that qualify for free 2-day shipping are also eligible for free returns. Also, if you prefer you can shop online and pick-up at your nearest Walmart usually on the same day! Checkout #Walmarthome and #startwithaspark for even more holiday decor inspiration.
Thank you Walmart for sponsoring today’s post!
