Kids Bathroom Plans

Helloooo Friends! Today I’m going to share with you our plans for the kids bathroom, this is such a fun one and I have two design schemes that I’m debating between. I love the serenity and neutrals from the first, but I also love the pops of color of the second one! Gaelle and I picked the tiles weeks ago from New England Tile and that was SUCH A FUN DAY! We knew we had to get those sea glass blue/aqua penny tiles in somewhere and originally we had planned for the floor but our budget was getting a little cray so we thought of a Plan B. We’re going to put the pretty pennies on the wall above the vanity and the two mirrors will go on top of the pennies, anddd we’re sneaking them in somewhere else which I want to save as a surprise! We went with a plain white subway tile for the tub walls. The walls outside of that one penny wall will be white shiplap 🙌🏻

The plumbing fixtures are from Torrco. That was another super fun day, we worked with Emily Fasano who was fantastic and they have so many options! If you go there, ask for her! In one day, we chose every single fixture for the entire house. I’m going to include all of our selections for the bath in this post so you can see all the details, and to note, we chose a polished nickel finish for these fixtures. Gaelle sold me on that one, it is SO pretty!! Gaelle also encouraged me to purchase the Hutton Double Vanity  with a white quartz top. She has used it in many projects and although the price tag is steep, it holds up really well and RH has incredible customer service. With three kids using this bath into their teenage years, this puppy needs to be sturdy. We chose to do wall-mounted faucets (shown below) which will be so cute!

Okay so here are the two schemes going on in my head:
