One section at a time…This is my approach to decorating our home. Honestly, I am the SLOWEST decorator on the planet, it takes me forever to decide on the right pieces and I can only work in small sections at a time. I need to truly get to know the spaces, how we use them, how the light hits, when it hits, I need to look through pinterest, magazines, be inspired, etc…I would be the worst professional decorator, can you imagine clients waiting on my decisions?? 😬
Our master bedroom is a very important place to me, it’s the one space we have to retreat to sans kids, and it’s where we recharge our batteries every single night (sometimes mid-day on the weekends 🙃) to tackle our busy days. I wanted a neutral, light and serene setting for our bedroom with soft, natural textures. I was thrilled to partner with Serena & Lily to get this room in tip top shape, welcoming us for long hours of relaxation and slumber. Literally when I close my eyes and picture my dream space, a Serena and Lily catalog flips through my head #amiright??
SO here we go!
I’m kind of obsessed with the way it came out, it’s everything I wanted it to be and most importantly it’s as comfortable as a cloud 🙌🏻
Headboard / Headboard and Bed Frame
Pink Pillow by Danielle Oakey Shop
Artwork : I painted the little watercolors and framed them with these Target frames
Pom Pom Curtains + Curtain Rods (for the rods, I actually sprayed them with brass spray paint because I couldn’t find simple affordable brass rods, these did the trick and were super east to spray!)
Thanks for coming along on the tour, and to Serena & Lily for working with me on finding the perfect bedding and rug!
