kate & me (not pictured, Kelly)
Hi Friends! Recently on Insta Stories I mentioned I was looking for help with my blog. I was so excited to see the response of those who were interested and it was great to get to know some of you more personally. Y’all are the best! Thank you to anyone that reached out about the opportunity, it was a tough decision but I’m happy to say I have a team now! The decision to add people to Pure Joy Home was one I went back and forth with for a while, and let me just say it’s not like I’m over here swimming in pool of money giving out big salaries and 401k plans. I added people to help with what I know they can do better than me. I’m pretty much a full-time mom with the exception of the two days I have Grace AND Brian at school, and the balance struggle bus was KILLING my soul. Having friends and teammates has immediately swung the pendulum right to the middle again, just where I need it to be and I’m SO thankful for that. Plus, it’s A LOT more fun to have people to bounce ideas off of on the daily.
Today I want to take some time to introduce you to the latest additions to the Pure Joy Home team!
Last week I introduced you to Kate (@ahappymesslife). Kate is my Brand Manager/Creative Associate. She has five (yes, FIVE) beautiful kids, amazing style and a desire to start her own blog (stay tuned for her launch!!). You will be seeing a lot more from her in the coming months as she will be a big part of helping with the styles/looks you see on my Instagram, Blog and Facebook.
Today, I would like you to meet Kelly (@mamaste_k). She will be my project manager, making sure we get all the things done so I can continue to show you all everything you like to see here at Pure Joy Home 🙂 She is a new mommy to 3 month old Harper Grace and sadly will be finishing up her maternity leave and heading back to work next Monday (she’ll be with me part-time mostly working from home). In prep for her transition out of milk covered t-shirts, leggings and a mom bun (#momlife) into business casual attire for the office, she has put together a list of her back to work must have’s below. The best part….almost all the items are currently 40% OFF!! The Fall Favorites are SO good and if you are a teacher, work in an office or are a stay at home mom that wants a more sophisticated look for school drop off – take a look below!
Also – any teachers out there? If you don’t know already, LOFT LOVES TEACHERS and has special discounts for you all year long. If you want to learn more you can read here.
