My mother and I fell in love with the L’Occitane brand when we returned home from my college graduation trip to Provence. It was such a magical time, my whole family went to France (well, the four of us, my dad and brother included) and we travelled from Paris to Lyon, and ended the trip in Villefranche-sur-Mer, Provence. We so enjoyed being together like that, it had been years since taking a family vacation just us. The entire country was amazing, but the aromas and scenery in Provence were nothing short of breath-taking, and we tried to take as much home with us as we could including their signature market totes and bags upon bags full of lavender.
Everything about L’Occitane takes us back to our special time spent there, even the straw bags! When my mother and I walk into any of their shops, we are instantly back in Provence.
