My approach to this years Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was to do a little something different. I wanted to put together a special collection of clothing, accessories, and shoes that we could wear together this fall + winter. I focused on choosing pieces that would transition easily from outfit to outfit, i.e. can be style many different ways within the pieces we buy, kind of like a capsule wardrobe. I’m so confident in all of these pieces and tried my best to select clothing that I think would work with all body types. Some of the items have sold out (from those that shopped early access) but I continue to check for re-stocks and will update you if I see any.
For sizing reference, I weigh about 110 lbs and am 5’2.
I’m SO excited about these outfits, and am already imagining the many different ways we’ll be able to wear them this year! I also had Brian help me with his top picks for men, and I rounded-up my favorites for kids & home which are also included at the end of this post.

Leopard Print Mock Neck Dress
When I slipped this Leopard Print Dress (currently sold-out) on I immediately fell in love! This is actually a size 4 so it’s a tad big but the size 2’s were already gone! I would recommend for this dress sizing down one size. If you usually wear a 0, order a size 2. It comes with a little belt so you can cinch the waist if you need to!

Floral Long Sleeve Body-Con Midi Dress
Oh boy. This one. It’s my favorite find of the sale. I have to speak on an influencer panel in a couple of weeks in NYC and guess what I’ll be wearing? This show-stopper, 100%. It’s freaking amazing!! If you want to feel like a million bucks, get it. Yes, you can pull it off. I also LOVE these blush Michael Kors pumps! I’m wearing a size 7.5, my true size.

Pleated Leopard Skirt
I swear I’ve been looking for months, maybe even a year (?) for this leopard skirt. It’s SO stylish and I consider leopard a neutral so you can wear it with anything! I scooped up this pretty black scoop neck top which tucks in perfectly, paired with my black, block heels. LOVE!

Weekend Wear Outfit
This was a fun little purchase I thought would look cute for those warm fall days. I love this printed sleeveless top styled just like this but it would also look amazing with any denim, white jeans, the corduroy skirt here, under the grey cardigan, etc… A good pop of color to add to your wardrobe! It also comes in hunter green which would be SO cute!

Date Night Outfit
These madewell jeans (currently sold-out). Please, please, please order these! I LOVE the button-fly, high waist and color of these! Madewell jeans are my jam as many of you know and I swear by them. They don’t stretch out in the butt, are so comfortable and are flattering as hell. I’m wearing a size 24 in these jeans (I’m 5’2 and 110 lbs).
I also love this black polka dot tie waist top! It has a super flattering deep-V neckline and will be perfect for date night and girls night out. It does come up a little high so you’ll need to pair it with high-waisted jeans. I also love the little ruffle on the sleeve, amazing detail!

The Grey Cardigan you need this fall
I really dislike saying “need” but this cardigan (currently sold-out) is a staple. I buy one every year from the sale, and they hold up beautifully. I swear no one makes cardigans like Madewell. I took the basic white long sleeve tee (wearing XS in that) and paired it under this gorgeous cardigan for a seamless, warm and stylish look. I am IN LOVE with this sherpa lined pink quilted utility jacket. Gals, it’s sherpa-lined! HELLO! Amazing. The color is a muted pink or dusty rose, and SO pretty. It will look great with any fall outfit you put on and will keep you nice and toasty. Plenty of room to fit a sweater underneath. I’m wearing an XS.

The Perfect Fall Outfit
K, hurry up on these friends. These Uchee Knee High Boots are my favorite from the sale, and look just like Frye at a fraction of the cost. I have a feeling these may go out of stock and I kind of need you to get them. They are affordable, comfortable and look cute as heck with skirts and jeans. I also love a good corduroy fall skirt (currently sold-out) to wear with tops and sweaters, and this one fits the bill (i’m wearing an XS).
Also, the Treasure & Bone Vintage Tassel Scarf. It’s a freaking BEAUT. I love the vintage floral pattern on it and the colors are so on point for fall. Also, it has tassels. Enough said. The waffle tee underneath it is not to be missed. It’s really soft and comfy and you’ll wear it a TON. Promise.

Okay so honestly when I took this off the rack I was like, really? Am I numb to #nsale madness with this one? But then I tried it on. You know, I’ve purchased a new Loft cable knit sweater every year, and every year it pills like crazy and drives me nuts. With this sale, I really wanted to find some classy AF pieces that will last me year after year. Guess what sweater I purchased out of about 10 that I tried on? Only this one. I’m wearing a size small, and love the fit. I’d say order a size up from your usual size. It a wool and cashmere blend for ultimate softness.
Also featured here…my butt. haha, it’s really not that round but these jeans make it look a hell of a lot nicer than others, damn! #worthit. I wanted to invest in a second pair of denim and Frame jeans are 🙌🏻 They have the perfect amount of stretch, sit a little lower than my usual ultra high-waist jeans, and pair perfectly with boots, booties, and heels! I’m wearing a size 25 in these!

This jacket is really intriguing to me, there’s something vintage about it that I really love so I’m going to try it on! The red carpet bra is the best strapless bra, I’m so happy they included this in the sale! I would never think to look in lingerie!
