You gals know how I love my mom jeans. I’ve been wearing a super distressed (and super expensive pair lately) but I was really determined to find a more affordable pair that had a similar look and I think I finally found them!
One of my goals for this summer is to share more retailers with you all to give you a wider variety of styles, price points and looks. I’m excited to share a brand with you all today that you may or may not heard of yet, Everlane. I was so happy when I got the chance to partner with them as they value what they refer to as “radical transparency” and share all the behind the scenes details, even down to the true cost of every product they make, with their customers. They also make it a priority to partner with the best, ethical factories around the world and source only the finest materials. I didn’t know about this until recently, but they have a really interesting denim story. Their denim factory recycles 98% of all water use and the byproduct from their Premium Japanese Denim is turned into bricks which are used to build affordable homes. THAT is amazing. I’m so happy there are more and more companies like Everlane not just thinking about making the most money, but using their positions to do more for our environment and kids. That’s really cool.
The weather has been SO hot here in CT so that summertime season has officially begun! School’s almost out for little B and we have a summer bucket list of things to do and I seriously can’t wait. When it’s this hot out and we are on the go I like to keep my summer wardrobe cool and comfortable and easy to throw on. This is an easy outfit that can help me go from day to night in case we have a date night planned. I love this top and fits great (and mom appropriate) with these high-rise jeans. The best part are these 100% Italian leather sandals. They are a perfect switch from my everyday casual Birkenstocks to a more dressed up but still comfortable look.
