Yikes, in less than 48 hours I’ll be wheels up to Dallas to the RewardStyle conference where I will be presenting myself as a fashion blogger to my colleagues, sponsors, and network. I seriously can’t believe where this last year has taken me, I never would have dreamed when I was posting my latest finds from Nordstrom in my bedroom mirror last year, that I would be embarking on this wild ride. Our reps told us to be prepared to give a very brief run down of who we are as a brand so I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflecting about Pure Joy Home these past couple of days. If you watched my instagram stories last night, you probably heard me speak straight from the heart about why I do what I do and so here it goes out into typed words…I am here to inspire you as the beautiful woman you are to look and feel your best. I hope that by sharing the attainable styles I wear, you are inspired to go out and find pieces that will make you feel confident and in turn happy, kind, and joyful. I hope that through my passion for everything I write about it, whether it be fashion, interior design, cooking, kids, motherhood, you feel inspired to light the passion inside of you to do what you love and that which brings you JOY. I’ve found a little nook here in Pure Joy Home to express myself and share my wild spirit and I’m SO incredibly thankful to all of you who check in here on the daily and on my social channels, you keep me coming back for more, and inspire me to keep on creating. I don’t know if you know how much you empower me as a woman, so I’m telling you now. Thank you, thank you for sending me to Dallas, thank you for giving me this budding career, it’s all because of YOU.
SO, with a fashion blogger conference comes an extreme circumstance of conference packing list. My friends and I have been laboring over this for WEEKS. I’m sharing a room (adjoining rooms actually) with some of my best blogger friends, Ashlee of Little Lovelies Blog, Natasha of Hello! Happiness Blog, Sara of Haute & Humid and Veronika of Veronika’s Blushing. Y’all these girls are MY GIRLS. We’ve been talking more than I talk to anyone, like maybe even as much as my mom. I love them all and can’t wait to actually meet them in real life, yes we’ve never actually met in person! We are all moms of young babes and just have so much in common, it’s going to be so fun to be with them.
