We moved our mid-century raised planter from West Elm that was in our living room to next to our door, love being able to move pieces around and find new purposes for them!
So I tend to be terrible at anything having to do with keeping plants and flowers alive but my mom on the other hand has a green thumb, thankfully. I was excited to tackle the front porch project with her because I’m the person who goes to the nursery, decides she likes the look of a flower, buys it even though it recommends full or partial sun and then two weeks later it’s a goner. My mom observed how long the porch got sun so was armed to make a good decision at the nursery with me. We picked out purple Salvia and white lobelia and I’m so happy wth how it turned out! The containers really stand out and make it all come to life. I had Gracie and Brian help us water the plants, anything they can be involved in around the house is helpful, and more fun! How cute does Grace look in that headscarf?!
