Sisley-Paris May Beauty Subscription Box Review

2 May 2017 Beauty, Uncategorized

As soon as I hit thirty, I decided it was time to start caring for my skin. A friend of mine introduced me to Sisley-Paris and I have been hooked on their products since. My skin has never been better and people notice. I usually don’t even need to wear makeup on my face because it’s so even, and I have freckles to boot!

I was thrilled when Sisley asked me to review their May beauty subscription box because I couldn’t wait to try some new products and share them with you.

I’ll get right in.

MY ONE AND ONLY, Sisleya. I don’t know why the other tiny tub gets all the credit, Sisleya is where it’s at and I’m not just saying this. This serum, the Sisleya Radiance Anti-Aging Concentrate is life-changing. I apply it every morning and night under my Sisleya L’Intégral Anti-Age moisturizer. I usually don’t need to wear makeup over this because it does all the work, unless I’m going out or want to look very finished. I’m usually going for the natural look so it works. It makes my skin look and feel fresher, more radiant and luminous.

The Eau Tropical has such a beautiful scent. I’ll admit, I’m not into heavy perfumes but one little spray of this does the trick, it’s very floral and tropical leaving me feeling like I’m on vacation all day long 🙂

Lyslait is Sisley’s gentle cleansing milk. It’s so gentle on the skin but leaves it super clean feeling. It lathers up on the face so you feel that very satisfying notion of a clean face rid of all environmental exposures. I actually also use it on my son because he has super sensitive skin!

The black rose oil is such a beautiful product. I’ve started using it on occasion at night before I go to sleep and then leave it on my skin the whole next day. It leaves such a nice finish on my face and primes it for my morning routine. If I shower I just leave it on and rub my skin with water.

The Phyto-Teint Eclat is a long-wearing and light fluid foundation that leaves skin with a powdered finish. It is oil-free and works with all skin types. I usually only wear foundation when I’m heading out to meeting or going out at night but it really covers any and all imperfections and fills in fine lines. This foundation also has a beautiful subtle scent that I love smelling throughout the day.

I’m so enthusiastic about these products because I know they are the best and I want you to be able to try them for yourself! SO we are giving away a 6-month subscription to one of you! All you need to do is comment and leave your email below to be automatically entered. You will LOVE this subscription, and the sizes are ample enough to get you through the month.

We’re currently in Phase 1 of our Costa Rican ad We’re currently in Phase 1 of our Costa Rican adventure. This is the two week decompression period where we train our bodies and minds to slow down (this is more for me than anyone else), and let me tell you, I’m lapping it up. We’re spending all day outside at the beach, going to bed early, eating lots of fresh fruit and healthy foods, swimming in the ocean, I’m working out and meditating in the mornings, and having fun together. For someone who is usually always in high gear, this part is my gift to myself 🐚

We are staying at a beautiful place in papagayo with @exclusiveresorts and it feels very luxurious and restorative.

The kids are already thriving. Being together 24/7 comes with its arguments and fights but they are learning how to just be with each other and with their crazy little brother. They’re helping a lot with him, learning a little Spanish, surfing, writing in their journals, and meeting kids from all over the world who are staying here as well.

I’m letting us get pampered for this phase, and it feels really good.

Thanks for coming along, I hope your year is off to an amazing start! Is there anything specific you’d like me to share about while we’re in this phase? I was thinking about sharing my morning workouts and meditations, but let me know!
Recently, I downloaded the Melissa Wood health app Recently, I downloaded the Melissa Wood health app @melissawoodtepperberg @melissawoodhealth and so far I’m loving the workouts. I try and do one every morning. They’re super quick so sometimes I do two. I like that they are gentle but hard. They incorporate a lots of yoga, pilates, breathing, stretching, balancing and all that good stuff. You can see from the videos I’m pretty shaky in the first couple clips, that balance is tough but I’m building up my strength, I can feel it 💪🏻
