I’m SO excited to share Brian’s new summer bedroom that I worked on with my friends at Marks & Spencer! Shamefully, we’ve been in the house for 8 months and I have only really half-decorated little his room, but I’m so happy that I finally put my nose to the ground and finished it. I’m bad at letting projects linger like that, I guess I just wait around until I’m inspired and with summer around the corner, it was the perfect excuse! Brian LOVES the beach so I thought we could play on that with all of the blues, sea creatures, and then other things he loves like favorite books and letters, how cute is this alphabet poster?? That letter B is a DIY and you can find the instructions here. I’m also a BIG fan of baskets because a. they’re pretty and b. they hide ALL of the things, you know like the gazillion matchbox cars, random sticker booklets, crayons, etc… I loved these and these from M&S.
I’m also big into gingham so this duvet cover set was PERFECT and it is so soft, he loves it! It’s also lightweight so perfect for hot nights in his summer bedroom.
He came into his summer bedroom after I finished and was loving it. He did ask me if he could put car decals all over the walls and I was like OH NO my dear, let’s put those in basement for a later time aka never. JK he can put them up…in his closet.
I’d like to thank Marks & Spencer via Shopping Links for sponsoring this post and helping me get Brian’s room summer-ready!
