It’s so much fun to relive the magic of the holidays our little ones, and halloween did not disappoint this year. I think this was the first year Brian really got the concept, and he was SO excited from the minute he woke up until the very end of the night as he counted out his loot (16 times over) and sorted it all into different sections on our kitchen table (remember that?). This morning, at 6:30 AM, he decided it was an urgent matter to wake us up so he could stash his candy all over the house, so freakin cute (but oh so early).
The day started at Brian’s preschool with a halloween parade and a little concert which was to die for cute. Then we headed to our cousins school parade and watched from the side as Brian and his cousin Liv marveled over all the big kids costumes. We came home and had a little down time (I had a sitter for a couple hours and did a little work and ran some errands solo). Trick-or-treating started around 5 and walked around our hood with my brother and his wife and their little guy Teddy, the babies were adorable riding together in our wagon with Brian leading the way.
I hope your halloween was fun!! Off to run around with Grace to pick up props for a couple of upcoming holiday entertaining posts!
xoxo, Liz
PS the adorable table and chairs are from Target and the rug that everyone always asks about is The Rhapsody Wool Woven Rug by Dash & Albert.
