Thanksgiving Tablescape

I LOVE making tablescapes, like absolutely LOVE. Tablescapes are a small space to decorate, there is an exact formula to follow and the rest gets to be creative and fun. It’s what I look forward to the most about hosting! This year we are having both of our families and we’ll be 14 adults and 6 little ones. Everyone brings a dish which makes the meal so easy, and also fun to try everyone’s dishes.

I’m going to wear this dress with booties. It’s comfortable as heck, and really, really pretty.

For our Thanksgiving Tablescape this year I wanted to use my new dinnerware from Terrain. I spotted it and immediately knew it would be perfect for our new home. The earthy blues and natural texture fit so nicely with the vibe of our home. I love them paired with these naturally dyed linen napkins in the color Rose. The tablecloth is a STUNNER and I want to leave it on the table always. It’s hand block printed and the colors are perfect. These chargers are my GO-TO all year round.

I like to do a low runner down the table as opposed to a large centerpiece because you can see the people on other side of the table! Trader Joe’s had these beautiful fresh magnolia leaves so I snatched up a bunch and laid those down along the center of the table. I filled it in with some fresh eucalyptus as well. There were these pretty preserved flowers also at Trader Joe’s so I got those to put on the plates. A simple detail that is so beautiful. I also love these pinecone candleholders scattered down the table.

The silver is very special. My mom gifted me one set of silver from when I was a little girl. I CHERISH real silver so much, it has an elegance to it that you can get from stainless steel. I also like that it isn’t everywhere and it’s not used on anything but a special occasion. The set is from Reed + Barton.

The wine glasses are from … AMAZON! I love them, I have them in white and red and they are amazing. I like drinking from them, and they fit easily in the dishwasher.
