Today I am sharing the perfect Fall charcuterie recipe! Is it a cheese plate or a charcuterie?? Charcuterie definitely sounds a little more … snobby? sophisticated? I think when you’ve got more than cheese, grapes and crackers on a plate, especially if you add some cured meats you can get away with charcuterie. Now, by definition, “charcuterie (pronounced “shahr-ku-tuh-ree”) is the art of preparing and assembling cured meats and other meat products. But, many people use the term charcuterie to refer to an assortment of meats that are paired with different accompaniments, such as toast, fruit, cheese, and sauces.” Okay done! So today I’m sharing everything you need to make a KILLER Fall charcuterie for your friends and family 🧀🍇🥖
First things first, I needed a new round platter. Because I left one at a gathering at some point last year and never got it back 😭. I bet Lauren has it, LAUR are you reading this?? Although I did get lucky and found Cheese Plate at Target over the weekend and it really fits the bill. It’s melamine and it WON’T BREAK! And it also looks just like pottery barn. WIN.
Okay, so here is what I added to this board to make it the perfect charcuterie for fall!
