This post is for my locals š I get asked all the time about where we go for date night and given itās almost the weekend, I thought it would be perfect timing to share some of our favorites. Brian and I make it a priority to go on dates frequently to make sure we have alone time where we can relax, enjoy a delicious meal without interruption and just connect. Sometimes ādate nightā can be as simple as a car ride alone together but more often than not, we eat! We love to go out for a good meal and there are so many great restaurants around us that it was really hard to narrow it down to just 10 so I added some bonus places at the end of the post! I hope this can serve as a helpful guide for those of you in CT (or anyone visiting!) to help answer ā where do you want to go for dinner?
10. Cafe Silvium | Stamford
A great Italian Restaurant with a cozy and romantic atmosphere.
9. Barcelona | Stamford/Norwalk
A wine bar with an intimate feel and delicious small plates you can share. They have restaurants in 8 states so you can check to see if there is one near you!
8. Rosie | New Canaan
This is our go to spot for day dates!! We go there for lunch a few times a month (sometimes twice in the same week!).
7. Columbus Park | Stamford
This is our favorite Italian restaurant!! Itās family owned (they are dear friends of ours) and they make you feel like you are a part of their family when you walk in the door. Itās a welcoming place with unbelievable food.
6. Black Duck | Westport
This is our favorite dive bar. It has such a fun atmosphere and they even have karaoke sometimes (haha I would love to be a fly on the wall). Itās right on the water and was featured on the Food Networkās āDiners, Drive-Inās and Divesā.
5. The Chelsea | Fairfield
Another spot with a great atmosphere and if you even just peak at the menu you will be dying to go. Love it for brunch!
4. Bodega | Darien
Amazing tacos and even better margaritas! We love Mexican so we are here a ton.
3. The Spotted Horse | Westport
Great spot in downtown Westport with indoor/outdoor seating and a great variety on their menu. We love when they have live music.
2. The Whelk | Westport
SO good!! Seriously this place is not only beautiful (scroll down to see pictures) but the menu is so creative and tastes perfect every time. I love to go here on girls nights too.
1. Rowyaton Seafood | Rowyaton
Our spot <3 Right on the water, the best seafood (in my opinion) and just feels like us.

- Bar Taco | Multiple Locations ā Great tacoās, margaritaās and churroās!!
- Knot Norms | Norwalk ā The food is SO good and all the seafood is locally sourced. The lobster roll was even nominated for best in New England.
- Shake Shack | Multiple Locations ā Yes, I included this lol. This place is amazing!
- Coal House Pizza | Stamford ā Hands down our favorite pizza place.
