Transitional Items For Spring | From The Bottom Up

Top | Jeans

This time of year is always exciting as retailers start sharing their spring lines.  I love the change in patterns, colors and styles and always look forward to seeing what will be on trend for the next season. Although here in CT winter feels like it just began! We’ve had a few snow storms and the temperature’s are still freezing. So while I am so ready for Spring, I still have to keep warm for the next month or so.

Free People is one of my all time favorite  brands.  I love to wear their unique and feminine styles that always have just the right amount of a boho vibe that I feel so good in. I excited to see what they have for each season especially their spring dresses and summer wear.

It’s important to me to search for clothes that can be transitional from season to season and this outfit has been the best.  I don’t normally wear bodysuits but this one is so flattering and is so comfortable I’ve been wearing it non-stop since I got it (as I’m sure you’ve seen on stories).  I can wear it around the house to do laundry and then wear it out at night! I wore it to the Mumford and sons concert last week with a teddy coat over it (as it was SO COLD!) and it was perfect.  I have also been so happy about these jeans.  They are high-waisted with just a little bit of stretch and I love the amount of distressing they have.

Cardigan | Tank | Jeans

I also grabbed this cardigan and tank and it’s been another outfit I’ve had on repeat.  The cardigan is a lush super soft cashmere and comes in 9 other colors.  The tank  is a really good layering piece that you can then feature as a top in the summer with a high-waist skirt.

Head on over to Free People now as they have free standard shipping on all orders!  I highly suggest checking out their show stopping spring dress preview!  There are so many good ones that would be perfect for any occasion when the weather is finally warm again.
