I am back from one of the longest solo travel days I’ve ever had! And although I had a rough go without Brian lol, I am SO grateful for the time I spent there and all the things I learned. I am taking home a wealth of knowledge, inspiration and energy for the rest of this year and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
WORKWEAR
Last week I shared a post on versatile workwear featuring products from Banana Republic. While I don’t work in an office everyday, if I did Banana would definitely be my workwear destination. They have such beautiful styles that easily transition from the office to a night out. I find quality items that are sophisticated and feminine. This midi skirt was a trending item even this week. So I did a little more browsing and found a few other items I wanted to share to spark some excitement in your Fall workwear wardrobe.
BEAUTY
A week of beauty finds! This week I shared a ton of my current beauty finds that I am seriously loving. As I mentioned last week, I don’t want to pile on make-up everyday so I am doing a little experimenting with different products that are going to help my skin look it’s best while offering lightweight coverage on the days I need it. The top favorite this week was by far the here! Another big hit was the purifying cleanser also from TULA. You can checkout my current skincare routine which shares all the details on what products I am using and why I love them.
Next up was trying a new to me light weight foundation by Glossier. I applied this after my daily sunscreen and while at first I didn’t think I saw a difference. Though after I polled you all on Instagram 77% of you said you noticed a difference and I did too. I used the built-in shade finder and it was dead on. This is great again for days you want some coverage but not to feel like you have heavy make-up on. I like the natural look and just enough coverage to hide what I want to hide but let my freckles peak through.
Then I also I shared my quick hair tutorial with my go-to curling wand the Whirl Trio. I shared all the tools, products and tips I use for quick beach waves on the blog. The wand set is still on sale too!
