Working from Home with Eero

As a work-at-home mom, there is nothing more crucial than reliable internet. When we first moved into our new home last September, we signed up with our cable provider for wireless internet and received a router with our package (free of charge? I can’t remember…). I know nothing about this stuff so I nicely asked the cable guy to please set it all up and then give me the password when he was finished, I signed a paper and off he went. Fast forward, we’ve been living in wireless h*ll all year, it NEVER WORKS. Neither Brian nor I know how to fix this kind of stuff so we have just been dealing with it, as in if it doesn’t work, we put our laptops away and say,” welp! guess I’m not sending that email tonight/I’ll call tomorrow/I guess it’s time for a glass of wine and Game of Thrones”. Neither of us want to do the dirty work and call because you know you’ll be on hold forever with no resolution.

A few weeks ago I got an email from eero asking if I would like to test drive their solution to all wireless problems with their new state-of-the-art wifi system, I immediately said yes.

Eero is a whole-home WiFi system that ensures reliable internet coverage in every corner of your home, no matter the size or shape. Instead of using a single WiFi router in one room of the home, you place multiple eeros and eero Beacons throughout your home, and they form the fastest and most reliable WiFi network that’ll leave you in tip-shop shape for super fast connectivity – amazing. Our eero came in a pretty black box and really simple instructions to connect. There is an app you download to connect your eero that walks you through set-up. I had our old router out and new eero installed in 10 minutes, and haven’t had one issue since. Plus, the beacons are white and blend into your home, you would never know they are there. Our old router had all these ugly blue and yellow cords under my desk which I despised, sayonara!

This new system has saved both Brian and I many headaches about not being able to connect, it’s honestly the best, and we connect a lot through it, our Alexa, Apple TV, ipads, iMacs, macbooks, we’re a house that needs connection. I’m so glad I gave it a try, check out their website www.eero.com ANDDD bonus, they are offering FREE overnight shipping to Pure Joy Home readers with code PUREJOYHOME at checkout 🙂
