I’ve been wearing the same Zara wool coat for I think about three years now (I still get compliments on it everywhere I wear it!) but since the holes in the pockets could no longer hold anything, I took that as a sign it was time to invest in a new one. I really took my time in making this decision because it’s a serious investment, $$ and comfort-wise, and I know I’ll be wearing it for years to come. As much as I look around for alternatives, I knew this was the coat. I’ve had my eye on it since last year and finally pulled the trigger at my local JCrew this past week during a 30% off sale. And I’m OBSESSED.
It’s seriously so pretty and the warmest wool I’ve ever worn. It’s made from Italian stadium-cloth wool (inspired by old-school stadium blankets, adding warmth without bulk). I love it and if you’re in the market for a new coat, I suggest giving this puppy a try!
