I have this thing for creating tablescapes. I absolutely LOVE decorating for the holidays and I view the table as the perfect canvas where I can unleash my creative spirit and have it enjoyed over intimate dinners with family and friends. The table really is such an important place in the home, it’s where we gather as family and friends and share laughter, joy and love. It’s where we satiate our senses over homemade food and good wine and spend hours sitting around enjoying our favorite people.
I was excited to decorate our new farm table in our new house this year for Thanksgiving. We are hosting our family and will be serving 12, I’m SO excited. I thought I’d get a little practice in and share what I’m creating for our tablescape this year. I focused on dressing the table with things that are easily accessible for the modern gal (actually everything I used I had on hand and everything else I was able to pick up at the grocery store!)
I’m kind of obsessed with this one! I’ll list all my sources below but some things to note, again, I focused on making this tablescape easily accessible so you can recreate it for yourself at your own home, and I wanted to use all local to Stamford vendors for anything extra I needed. I loved having some sort of focus because it narrowed my options and made it fun to connect with local buddies.

This is my wedding china, it’s by Ralph Lauren, sadly it is discontinued 🙁
The pretty placecards are from The Printed Society. I was so happy to discover these gals right here in Stamford and we went to the same high school!
I sourced Juliska (based in Stamford) for the wicker placemats, gold flatware (obsessed), wine goblets, pink tumblers, and votive candles.
I went to our local grocery store for the decor. It is all basically just fresh produce so it was super easy (and cheap!) I bought three bunches of prettiest greens I could find (total $15), all of the pretty pumpkins I had leftover from Halloween, and I put fresh cranberries in those little gold bowls for color. The gold bowls are from HSN.
