William’s Nursery Inspo

Hi!! I have been dreaming of William’s nursery since he was a little bean in my belly. I LOVE working on design schemes for the kids. Of this entire process of building our home, what brings me the most JOY is working on the kids rooms! I want their bedrooms to make them feel comfortable and secure, and reflect their unique personalities. I had a lot of fun with Willam’s nursery design. I wanted it to be soft and sweet, just like him 🙂

His room will have this beautiful sailboat wallpaper by Sara Fitz on all four walls, this gorgeous pendant light (in the 19.5″ diameter) and I’m currently looking for the perfect drapes. I found these black out woven drapes on Amazon after seeing them on instagram, and they looked like such great quality from what I could see. I ordered the sample pack of fabrics and found the perfect color, Pale Blue. This is so much less expensive than going the custom route (I will keep you posted on that!). For rods, I found these at Bed, Bath and Beyond with matching clips. I love the color and nautical vibe.

We have this crib and a similar dresser already so we’ll move that into his room. For decor, I love these simple pieces. I’m thinking for the penant flag, I’ll have his name William Jackson written on.

I love this rug!! We installed it this week and it looks and feels amazing on your feet, so soft for babes.

We have this glider (looks like our color is out of stock) but if I could do it over I’d get this swivel chair. I’ve seen it in person and it is SO pretty, and SO comfortable. It’s also not a “glider” so would look good anywhere in our home, i.e. you can move it around when the “glider” stage ends.

This pillow from McGee & Co. It’s a bit of a splurge but SO PRETTY!!! There are some look-a-likes on Etsy, you can see here.

Okay, I think that’s everything!! Hope you enjoyed this post, and I CAN NOT WAIT to see his nursery come to life in just a couple of months!!
